Working with a major international brand like Durex at the British Science Festival meant that we wanted to go all out with our installation for them, and we certainly did just that! With deadlines that were tight, to say the least, we were under pressure to deliver something that would be engaging, fun and reflective of the brand. Did we shy away and take the easy route…? Of course not, that’s not the Drunk Animal way.
We designed, created and installed an elaborate installation at Ferens Art gallery in Hull that included a bed and selfie board, an interactive video booth, interactive quizzes and information displays, branded photo opportunities and even a ‘condom challenge’ plinth where visitors were invited to race against the clock to apply condoms. The brief was the create a fun, interactive installation that was true to the brand and it’s messaging, and we delivered something we were proud of.
