It’s been an incredible year here at Drunk Animal Creative Studio, filled with massive milestones and awesome developments. Celebrating our fifth year of business, we’ve invested in a comprehensive rebrand, extensive development of our creative hub in Hull city centre, and the expansion of our team to become a full-service agency that can take on any size of project.
2018 has also seen us take on exciting new clients such as Siemens, the University of Hull and the RB portfolio of brands, which include Scholl, Gaviscon, and Durex. Add to this, tons of activity for a range of clients and an unmissable presence at events such as Humber Street Sesh, Freedom Festival and the British Science Festival, and it’s clear that our ambition and capabilities know no bounds.
A prestigious dinner event at the University of Hull was brought to life by DACS through robot waiters and bartenders, plus our Tilly the Turtle installation is helping the University to promote its #MyPlasticPledge campaign across the UK. This is only the beginning, as we have everything in place to become the go-to agency for experiential marketing and creative design for the world’s biggest brands, independent businesses and tiny start-ups alike.
Our CEO, Calvin Innes, also ticked a major goal off his bucket list by giving a TED Talk at Hull Truck Theatre. Exploring the power of the humble doodle, Calvin demonstrated to his audience methods of unlocking a world of creativity in children through illustration, which reflects his personal mission to encourage people, young and old, to experiment with pad and pencil.
Having totally refurbished our office basement, we’re very excited to launch The Rooster Club in January 2019. This will invite people from an eclectic range of fields to come together for some relaxed and innovative networking, with the aim to give thought leaders, artists and top professionals the means to collaborate.
The next twelve months are going to be even bigger and better, so stay tuned for new announcements in the coming months. In the meantime, we’d like to thank all of our customers, suppliers, associates, and followers for being part of the DACS journey.
Now it’s time to relax with a bottle of something special from our client Wines Online, fetch the mince pies and Quality Street, and chill out with the Drunk Animal Christmas Playlist. Have a listen to this wide-ranging selection yourself – Mirna loves a bit of Mariah, Calvin chose Twisted Sister, Rich went for some festive dubstep, and the rest of the team added some right crackers too. Enjoy!
